Terms and Conditions for GQ Experience

Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the GQ Experience website, located at https://www.gqexperience.com

By accessing and using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the website.

Who We Are

Services Policy and Agreements:

Services Offered: The membership includes access to the services specified for each membership type.

These services may vary and are subject to change according to the availability and policies of GQ Experience.

  • Advance Reservations: Reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to access the services included in the membership. Reservations are subject to availability.
  • Late Cancellations and No Shows: 

    By booking an appointment with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions related to late cancellations, no shows, and waiting times. These terms are designed to ensure we can provide high-quality service to all our clients.

    1. No Show:

    • Wait time and tolerance:
      If the client does not show up within 15 minutes of the scheduled appointment time, it will be considered a No Show. In this case, the barber has the right to leave, and the service will be considered provided.

      • The service will be deducted from any active membership services.
    • Non-refundable deposit:
      The $50 deposit made to reserve the appointment is non-refundable in case of a no show or if the client arrives more than 15 minutes late.

    • No Show Fee:
      If the client does not show up for the appointment or fails to cancel with at least 24 hours’ notice, a $25 fee will be charged automatically in addition to the forfeiture of the reservation deposit.

      In case of No Show, the client authorizes GQ Experience to charge the full service amount to the card on file, including the non-refundable deposit and any additional fees.

    2. Late Cancellations:

    • Notice required for cancellation:
      If you need to cancel your appointment, you must provide at least 24 hours’ notice before the scheduled time. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur the following fees:

      • Late cancellation fee: A $25 charge will be applied automatically.
    • Non-refundable deposit:
      If a cancellation occurs after the $50 deposit has been paid, the deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances.

    3. Appointment Rescheduling:

    • If you wish to reschedule your appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Rescheduling is subject to availability, and if we are unable to accommodate the new time, the cancellation policy will apply as outlined above.

    4. Exceptions:

    We understand that unexpected situations may arise, such as emergencies or health issues. In such cases, please contact us as soon as possible to discuss a possible solution. Exceptions will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis depending on the situation.

    5. Acceptance of Terms:

    By booking an appointment with us, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions. You acknowledge that any late cancellation or no show will be handled as outlined in this document.

Terms and Conditions – Membership Usage

 

By purchasing a membership, the member agrees to comply with the following terms and conditions related to the use of the three available membership plans. These terms are designed to ensure the best service and an exclusive experience for our members.

1. Essential Member – $199.95/month or $2,159.95/annual (179.95/month)

  • Includes:
    2 visits per month. Each visit is valid for one haircut or shave service exclusive to the membership holder.

  • Non-Transferable:
    This membership is non-transferable. Only the person who owns the membership can use the services. No other individual, including family or friends, may use the included services.

  • Appointment Policy:
    Appointments must be scheduled in advance and within the month of the membership. If the holder does not use the two visits within the month, the services will not be carried over or refunded.

  • Wait time and tolerance:
    If the client does not show up within 15 minutes of the scheduled appointment time, it will be considered a No Show. In this case, the barber has the right to leave, and the service will be considered provided.

    • The service will be deducted from any active membership services.
  • Cancellation of Appointments:
    Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. If not, a $25 cancellation fee will apply.

2. Private Client Member – $349.95/month or $3,599.95/annual (299.95/month)

  • Includes:
    1 weekly visit to the establishment for one haircut, shave, or beard grooming service exclusive to the membership holder.

  • Non-Transferable:
    This membership is non-transferable. Only the membership holder can use the weekly visits. No one else can use the services under this plan.

  • Appointment Policy:
    Appointments should be scheduled in advance to ensure availability. If a weekly visit is not used within the week, it will be forfeited, and cannot be carried over to a future service.

  • Wait time and tolerance:
    If the client does not show up within 15 minutes of the scheduled appointment time, it will be considered a No Show. In this case, the barber has the right to leave, and the service will be considered provided.

    • The service will be deducted from any active membership services.
  • Cancellation of Appointments:
    Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a $25 fee. If the member fails to show up, a $25 no-show fee will be charged.

3. Corporate Membership – $749.95/month or $7,999.95/annual

  • Includes:
    1 weekly visit for the membership holder and up to 3 additional people, totaling 4 people who can benefit from the service under this plan. All visits and services must be made on the same day for all individuals included in the membership.

  • Non-Transferable:
    Services under this membership are non-transferable to anyone not included in the plan. Only the membership holder and the 3 additional people can use the services.

  • Appointment Policy:
    All appointments must be scheduled for the same day for all individuals included in the membership. If one or more of the individuals cannot attend, the service will not be rescheduled or carried over to another day.

  • Additional Charges:
    If an additional visit is required for any member (including the holder or any of the additional people), an additional fee will apply. This fee will be agreed upon prior to the additional appointment.

  • Wait time and tolerance:
    If the client does not show up within 15 minutes of the scheduled appointment time, it will be considered a No Show. In this case, the barber has the right to leave, and the service will be considered provided.

    • The service will be deducted from any active membership services.
  • Cancellation of Appointments:
    Appointments must be canceled at least 24 hours in advance. If any person included in the membership cannot attend, a $25 no-show fee will be charged per person who fails to show up. Appointments must be rescheduled in advance to avoid additional charges.

Common Terms for All Membership Plans

 

4. Set-up Fee

  • Initial Payment:
    All membership plans require an initial set-up fee, which will be clearly specified before payment is made. The set-up fee varies depending on the selected plan:

  • Service Start Date:
    Membership services will begin once the initial payment and the corresponding set-up fee have been paid.

5. Automatic Renewal

  • Monthly or Annual Renewal:
    Memberships will automatically renew at the end of each monthly or annual cycle, on the same day the initial payment was made. If payment is not updated by the renewal date, a late payment fee will be applied as per the payment policy outlined below.

6. Late Payments

  • Grace Period:
    If the recurring membership payment is not made on time, the member will have 3 days to update the payment without incurring a late fee.

  • Late Payment Fee:
    If payment is not updated within 3 days of the renewal date, a $25 late payment fee will apply. This fee will be charged starting from the fourth day after the original renewal date.

7. Cancellation and Reactivation

  • Cancellation of Membership:
    The member may cancel their membership at any time. However, no refunds will be issued for payments already made.

  • Reactivation:
    If a member cancels their membership and later wishes to resume services, they will need to pay the set-up fee again in order to reactivate the membership, regardless of when they choose to reactivate.

8. Temporary Suspension

  • In the event of emergencies or exceptional circumstances, the holder may request a temporary suspension of the membership, subject to approval and a maximum duration of 30 days.

9. Member Responsibilities

  • The membership holder is responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date information regarding their appointments and service usage. Abuse of the booking system or failure to comply with the terms of use may result in membership termination without refund. It is the member’s responsibility to comply with the terms and conditions established when using the services included in the membership.
 
  • Non-Transferable Use: The membership is for personal and non-transferable use. Sharing the membership is not allowed.
  • Validity and Renewal: The membership has a specific validity period, which may vary depending on the type of membership purchased. A renewal notice will be sent well in advance before the expiration date.
  • Modifications and Updates: We reserve the right to make modifications or updates to the membership terms and conditions. Members will be notified of any relevant changes.
  • Membership Termination: We reserve the right to terminate the membership in case of repeated non-compliance with the established terms and conditions, or for any other justified reason.
  • By accepting this membership policy and agreements, the member acknowledges and agrees to comply with all the provisions set forth herein.

     

    Image Program Terms and Conditions

    The GQ Experience Image Program (the “Program”) is designed to provide a curated and personalized styling experience for clients. By enrolling in or receiving services under the Program, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

    1. Authorization of Purchases
      You authorize GQ Experience and its authorized stylists to make purchases on your behalf for clothing, accessories, and other personal styling items that have been pre-approved during the image consultation process. Purchases may be made through in-person, online, or boutique transactions.

    2. Final Sales and Returns
      All sales made under the Image Program are final. Due to the custom and curated nature of these purchases, no returns, exchanges, or refunds will be accepted once the order has been placed or paid for by GQ Experience on your behalf.

    3. Payment Responsibility and Custom Pricing
      You agree to pay the full custom price (“Custom Price”) of all purchases made on your behalf. This includes any applicable taxes, tailoring, or boutique surcharges. The total amount will be invoiced directly to you, and payment is due upon receipt of the invoice unless otherwise agreed in writing.

    4. Processing Fees
      GQ Experience reserves the right to apply processing fees to cover transaction costs, payment processing, or concierge purchasing services. These fees may vary depending on the total amount and payment method. By authorizing GQ Experience to process purchases on your behalf, you agree to pay any applicable processing or service fees included in the final invoice.

    5. Invoice and Payment Terms
      After purchases are made, you will receive a professional invoice detailing the total amount spent, including any applicable fees. You agree to pay the full amount due within the payment terms specified on the invoice. Failure to pay may result in suspension of future services or legal collection measures.

    6. Authorization Confirmation
      By participating in the Image Program, you confirm that:

      • You grant GQ Experience full authorization to use its business accounts and payment systems to make purchases on your behalf.

      • You understand that all purchases made through this authorization are final and non-refundable.

      • You commit to reimbursing GQ Experience the full amount of each transaction, including applicable fees.

Registration and User Accounts

To access certain features of the website, you may need to register for a user account. You must provide accurate and complete information during the registration process. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and password and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to immediately notify GQ Experience of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.
